Gasket Plate Heat Exchangers
Plate Heat Exchangers have been used in all kinds of industries as compact heat exchangers with maximum efficiency.
The Plate Heat Exchanger is a heat transfer equipment consisting of a pack of heat transfer plates, compressed by frames and tightening bolts. Heat transfer plates are made by pressing thin sheets of corrosion-resistant metal such as stainless steel or titanium, setting them with seal gaskets and hanging and piling them on the guide bar. Then, plates are tightened with bolts between the fixed frame and the movable frame.
Here, there is a certain gap between the heat transfer plates that allows liquid to flow.
The liquid inlets and outlets are in the fixed frame or the movable frame.
Semi-welded Heat Exchangers
Semi-Welded Plate Heat Exchangers combine the efficiency and flexibility of a gasketed plate heat exchanger
with the strength and resistance of a welded Plate Heat Exchanger, by the use of Semi-Welded plate pack.
A cassette is formed by two plates laser welded together with O-ring at portholes and a regular gasket on the outside. One fluid (aggressive media or refrigerant) is flowing through the inside of the cassettes welded and the other fluid is flowing on the outside of the cassettes (standard gasketed side). This configuration allows the use of plate technology for aggressive media and other applications where high pressure resistance or limited contact between gasket and fluids is necessary.

Brazed Heat Exchangers
The brazed plate heat exchanger inherits the high performance of the conventional gasket type plate heat exchanger, reduces the number of parts and finishes it in a simpler structure, and by adopting the brazing structure, it is lightweight, compact and durable and enhances sexuality and economy.
The strong sealing performance of the brazed structure also supports heat exchange processes using refrigerants such as ammonia and chlorofluorocarbons.
